As a seasoned experience designer, my objective is to create elegant and usable interfaces that engage people in their digital experience – making it simple, usable and pleasing. I have created and directed designs for various websites, mobile web and mobile applications. I enjoy working with a team that constantly thinking about creative yet simple ways to help making life better.

WHAT I DO

Experience Design & Information Architecture
Develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications using user centered design principles and embracing current technology. Plan and document task flows and user interactions.

User Research & Usability Assessment
Plan and conduct usability evaluations of interfaces for web and mobile applications. Create usability reports and recommendations that improve the user experience.

Creative Design
Design online and print collateral, icons and branding. Create style guide as part of design documentation.

Interactive Prototyping
Develop interactive prototype with HTML and JQuery.

LOCAL MATTERS INC.

APRIL 2010 – APRIL 2011

Local Matters provides online publishers with localized website portals that connect consumers and local businesses; transforming a publisher’s database of local listings into the most compelling destination for local buyers making local purchase decisions.

My Role and Responsibilities:
As a User Experience Architect, I conduct research and analysis for business opportunities based on market demands and user needs for International directory publishers and real estate in addition to creating wireframes, mock-ups and interactive prototypes.

COLLECTIVE DETECTIVE

APRIL 2010 – PRESENT

The Collective Detective® is a micro-business that develop projects focusing on creative and engaging entertainment projects and social, casual gaming experiences. The company mission is: Connecting people and interests online in fun and creative ways.

My Role and Responsibilities:
As a User Experience Design Consultant, I designed the the mobile web app for Collectivus.com. I worked remotely with the subject matter expert and developer team in Pennsylvania. I created user task flows, wireframes, high fidelity comps and graphical icons and objects for the project.

NATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY

NOVEMBER 2008 – MARCH 2010

The National MS Society is a collective of passionate individuals who want to do something about MS now—to move together toward a world free of multiple sclerosis. The National MS society help each person address the challenges of living with MS through its 50-state network of chapters by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.

My Role and Responsibilities:
As a User Experience Design Consultant, I was responsible for the redesign project for Volunteer Management System in an agile environment. I worked closely with several subject matter experts, business analysts and developer team, all done remotely. I created user task flows, wireframes and mock-ups for the project.

MAPQUEST INC.

APRIL 2007 – APRIL 2010

MapQuest, Inc. is one of the popular online mapping applications that offers maps, directions and location-based services serving over 40 millions Internet users a month.

My Role and Responsibilities:
As a User Experience Designer, I was responsible for several design projects focusing on web applications and mobile devices. I analyzed and developed user task flows, wireframes and mock-ups in an agile environment.

FISERV INVESTMENT SUPPORT SERVICES

AUGUST 2006 – APRIL 2007

Fiserv ISS provides individuals and business customers with investment support services that goes from business retirement plans to money purchase pension plans.

My Role and Responsibilities:
As a User Interface Engineer with no dedicated design team in house, I initiated the user-centered design process. I worked closely with business analysts and actual users collecting information needed for requirements in order to improve the process flow of the current application for one of the top investment support services corporation.

EONBUSINESS

FEBRUARY 1999 – AUGUST 2006

eonBusiness started out as a web development company developing e-commerce solutions, web development and intranet. The clients list varies from small businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies and fortune 100 companies. One of the biggest achievement was GO TOAST, a leading global provider of pay-per-click search engine optimization and online marketing management tools. It was acquired by aQuantive followed by another acquisition by Microsoft.

My Role and Responsibilities:
As a Web Designer and UI Engineer, I led various design projects and worked closely with developers: creating user flows, mock-ups and delivered HTML templates.
